During the residency/workshop, we focused on the topic of our multidisciplinary work inspired by the sit-in’s motto. That is the principal meaning of this residence. “Nobody is an Outsider”. Through body movements we explored Chinese ideograms. We used a green stool fixed to the back. This is the same stool used by Nabu, Panay and all the other protesting friends during their reunion of sharing and searching for new ways and paths. We chose Chang Kai Chek memorial square for the performance, because it symbolizes the center of power, his violence against and extortion of the Formosan people before the “White Terror” event. We wanted, in a way, to take that space back.

在抗議期間，“泥椅”團隊的駐地創作以抗議標語-沒有人是局外人-做為發想。 以身體的律動來詮釋“沒有人是局外人”仿佛用身體來書寫。綠色塑膠椅是在抗議現場被拿布，巴奈和其他朋友在聚會時使用的，表演者將椅子背在身上表示分享並尋找新的方向。 拍攝場景以中正紀念堂為背景，此地象徵極權侵佔並統治白色恐怖前就已住在這片土地上的居民。此表演示為重拾主權的藝術宣示。

Durante il workshop residence (nome-back to beginning)abbiamo voluto intervenire focalizzando il “principio della nostra opera multidisciplinare prendendo spunto dal motto stesso del sit-in permanente a cui questo stessa residenza è dedicata”. Nobody are an outsider”. Utilizzando la danza e i movimenti del corpo abbiamo reinterpretato gli ideogrammi cinesi, caricandoci sulle spalle uno sgabello verde usato da Nabu e Panay e da tutti gli amici della protesta per sedersi in cerchio e cercare una via di dialogo. Abbiamo scelto come luogo della performance la grande piazza dello Chang kai Chek memorial Hall, luogo che più di tutti per noi rappresenta simbolicamente il potere centrale, la sua violenza e la sua rapina nei confronti di tutte le genti che vivevano nell’isola di Formosa prima dell’avento del “terrore bianco”, volendo così in un certo senso, riappropriarci dello spazio.
